Paul Dennis & Son

Makers and Restorers of The Finest Ironwork

Celebrating over 50 years of Craftsmanship

Paul Dennis has been trading for over 50 years. He started working as a blacksmith for his father in the late 1960s and in business on his own in 1971. In 2017 he combined forces with his son Gareth to form Paul Dennis and Son Limited.

We are specialists in the design, manufacture, repair and conservation of fine ironwork. As a team of specialised crafts-people, we work closely with architects and clients to deliver a remarkably varied range of bespoke projects in wrought iron and in other metals. We undertake works on all scales from grand wrought iron staircases to individual items of furniture and smaller works for private houses.

Paul Dennis has carried out major new build and restoration projects on many of Britain’s most significant heritage sites, these including the complete iron work packages for the Jewel House in the Tower of London and for Windsor Castle after the fire; the frontage and gates of Kensington Palace and the restoration of the Albert Memorial railings to name but a few. More recently Paul Dennis and Son have continued to work on major heritage sites including delivering the balustrade surrounding the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Gallery in Westminster Abbey.

Paul Dennis has the privilege to work on some of the Nation's most historic and prestigious buildings
